Slat Mount - Vertical
Front Slat Mount – X6 Series (MinCom & Fusion)
The Front Slat Mount is designed specifically for X6 Series MinCom and Fusion racks. It provides a rigid, secure mounting point for Cobra quick plug slats directly on the front face of the rack.
This mount supports:
- One or two Cobra 18S Quick Plug Slats, or
- One Cobra 36S Quick Plug Slat
No stands. No zip ties. No improvised mounting. Just a clean, integrated solution that keeps your firing hardware exactly where it belongs.
Installed Example
Below is the mount installed on an X6 rack platform with Cobra quick plug slats.

Designed Around the X6 Platform
The mount installs directly to the front of the rack frame and becomes part of the rack structure. Once installed, your slats remain:
- Secure during transport
- Rigid during firing
- Positioned for clean, efficient wiring
Everything stays aligned with the rack. Nothing shifts. Nothing flexes.
Configuration Options
- Run two 18S slats side by side for compact builds
- Run one 36S slat when full rack capacity is preferred
Front mounting reduces lead clutter and keeps wiring short and organized — especially when running multiple racks in sequence.
Installation
Installation requires drilling mounting holes in the front face of the rack.
- All required mounting hardware is included
- Drill locations and installation instructions are provided
- Designed specifically for X6 Series MinCom & Fusion racks
Once installed, the mount becomes a permanent, clean addition to the rack.
Built for Real Show Conditions
- Precision cut and formed aluminum construction
- Rigid, no-flex mounting surface
- Compatible with Cobra 18S and 36S quick plug slats
- Clean, professional appearance
Purpose-built. Field-ready. No improvisation required.
Medusa 12 Shot Single Shot Rack System
Backordered items typically ship within 7–10 business days. Most items ship from stock.

Angle Setting Tool
Angle Setting Tool – MinCom Rack Version
The Angle Setting Tool is designed specifically for MinCom-style racks and is slim enough to fit between rows of tubes. It allows you to set tube angles accurately and consistently without relying on a level table, bench, or gravity-based angle finder.
Traditional gravity angle finders only work correctly if the surface the rack is sitting on is perfectly level. If it isn’t, your angles are off before you ever get to the field. For some people being within a few degrees is fine. For others, that isn’t acceptable.
This tool eliminates that problem entirely.
Instead of referencing gravity, the Angle Setting Tool references:
- the horizontal surface of the rack, and
- the edge of the tube itself
By basing the angle off the rack and tube geometry, the tool gives you a true, repeatable angle regardless of whether the work surface is level or not. Once the rack is placed in the field, you simply level the rack — the tube angles are already correct.
The result is a faster, more consistent setup with far less guesswork.
How to Set the Angle (Visual Example)
Line up the EDGE of the tube with the corresponding line on the Angle Setting Tool. When the tube edge and the tool line are parallel, your angle is set.

Why This Beats Gravity-Based Angle Finders
- No need to level your table or bench first
- No accumulated error from uneven surfaces
- Faster setup when doing multiple racks
- Consistent results every time
You set angles once, correctly, and move on.
Why There Is No Angle Decal (and Probably Won’t Be)
Angle decals or labels on the side of the rack sound good on paper, but in practice they fall apart.
For a decal to work properly:
- Each tube would need a clearly marked centerline
- Those centerlines would need to remain visible
MinCom racks don’t currently have tube centerlines marked. While a user could add one with a Sharpie or scribe, decals only work reliably on the outside tubes.
On racks like the 35-shot (7 rows deep):
- Front tubes block the view of tubes behind them
- Side decals cannot accurately reference tubes 2–7 rows back
- Multiple angles are commonly used within the same rack
At that point you’re eyeballing angles, and that’s not something I’m comfortable recommending.
This tool avoids all of that. It works directly at the tube, in any row, with the same accuracy.
Bottom Line
- Designed specifically for MinCom racks
- Fits between tube rows
- Does not rely on gravity or a level work surface
- Faster, cleaner, more repeatable than angle finders or decals
- Works on every tube, not just the outside row

Composite Effect Bushing
Composite Effect Bushings – MinCom X-Series Holders
The Composite Effect Bushing is the black, moon-shaped insert that installs inside the aluminum MinCom X-series holder and interfaces directly with the mortar tube. It is a functional component of the holder system, not a simple spacer.
These bushings are manufactured from a low-creep composite material designed to maintain its shape under long-term load. Unlike common plastics, the material does not cold-flow or take a permanent compression set, allowing consistent performance across multiple seasons of use.
The composite material provides controlled compliance, which increases surface contact and holding effectiveness while absorbing recoil and vibration from repeated firing cycles. This helps maintain consistent tube retention without loosening over time.
Composite construction also provides corrosion resistance, quiet operation, and tolerance to dirt and moisture, making these bushings well-suited for outdoor rack use.
Each bag includes ten 30 mm bushings and ten 40 mm bushings for use with MinCom X-series holders.
