CraigCo wheels are fixed, 360-degree round racks designed to fire effects evenly in all directions at once. There are no moving parts — just precise geometry and controlled ignition.

They are used when you want a wide, balanced visual footprint without sweep or rotation.

What a Wheel Actually Is

A wheel is a circular rack that holds multiple single-shot effects arranged around the perimeter. When fired, the effects radiate outward to create a full-circle visual effect.

There is:

• No rotation

• No motors

• No mechanical motion

Just clean, predictable firing in a true 360° pattern.

Two Designs, Two Use Cases

CraigCo offers two distinct wheel designs because they solve different problems in the field.

Plata Wheel

The Plata Wheel is built using the same 2.5″ square aluminum tubing found in the MinCom™ rack system. This makes it a natural extension of existing MinCom layouts.

Key characteristics:

• Constructed from MinCom-standard 2.5″ square tubing

• Compact diameter compared to the Jameson

• Fixed, rigid frame with no moving parts

• Familiar mounting and handling for MinCom users

The Plata Wheel is ideal when you want a tight, efficient 360° effect that integrates cleanly with MinCom racks, frames, and hardware.

Jameson Wheel

The Jameson Wheel is a much larger-diameter design intended for maximum coverage and flexibility.

Key characteristics:

• Large circular diameter for a broad visual footprint

• 36 firing positions, spaced every 10 degrees

• Uses interchangeable cartridges (sleds) to hold effects

• Designed for high shot counts and complex layouts

The cartridge system allows for consistent spacing, quick loading, and flexible effect selection, making the Jameson Wheel well-suited for larger displays where scale and symmetry matter.

Choose the Plata Wheel if:

Choose the Jameson Wheel if:
