What size single shots will these hold?

The MinCom series tubes are 2-3/8 i.d. That means they will typically hold up to and including 50mm effects.  For anything less than 50mm, the use of the foam spacers is req'd in order to hold the effects securely.

Will these racks hold 62mm effects?

The Medusa series holders are for 62mm effects.  Then MinCom holders will not fit anything larger than 50mm effects.  These MinCom holders are designed for non-reporting type single shots. So these will not accommodate 62mm single shots.

What material is used in the construction of the rack?

The tubing and side plate(dividers) are aluminum. The pivot rods are 1/4-20 clear zinc all thread.

What holds the single shots in place?

The single shots are held in place using foam spacers (sectioned pool noodles). There are no zip ties req'd to hold the effects in place.

How come there isn't any sort of angle indicators on the side?

The original design had angle indicators on the side plates. There were a few issues that arose with those. The main one being its very difficult to verify or set angles on any of the tubes past the first row. Because we were shooting pyro-musicals, we tended to script many different angles. So we needed something other than the typical gravity based tool to set the angles so I developed the angle setting tool just for these racks.

Can I get wing nuts for the tighteners?

We can certainly install wing nuts, but we strongly advise not to. Wings nuts do not allow enough force or tension to be applied to the side plates to hold the tubes.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is based on weight and location. If you are interested in a shipping quote, I can get you a cost once we determine what it is you want to order.

Can I get a different configuration?

We can make different configurations. Depending on what the configuration is, there may be additional charges.

Are all the tubes independently adjustable?

Yes, all the tubes are independently adjustable.
